We rent out four rooms in our large 7 bedroom home to students or others. We have lots of freezers and three fridges but we do share a kitchen. With so many different schedules sharing laundry facilities and kitchen doesn't present any problems. We have a dishwasher , cable TV, high speed WiFi internet access, a seasonal hot tub and swimming pool. Each room is furnished with desk, bed, dresser and bookcase. The owners are teachers and have lived in the area for twenty years. We have a family atmosphere and enjoy one-another's company but your room is your private place. I would be glad to discuss the house or to show you the rooms.
We have two big, friendly dogs who will be overly glad to make your acquaintance when they are not sleeping (they sleep a lot).
Its about a 15 minute walk to campus and buses go by the corner on a regular daily basis (about a five minute bus ride.)We have a pool table and a common room as well.
